This is very cool, especially if you can access your keitai mail from a PC etc.

p.s. The author, Mark Lytle is a great guy.

Too bad, I like Gmail but it seems it will be another typical :zzz: Japanese exercise in crippling and re-branding for the sake of protecting Japanese consumers from the foreign devil :twisted: companies.

I'm glad I left DoCoMo and KDDI AU in favor of Softbank Mobile that is emerging as a pretty sweet division. They have made a significant contribution to forcing change in the Japanese keitai market for the better.

But thankfully you don't need to use no stink-in crippled and re-branded service to access Gmail mobile. Just point your phone to Gmail and thats it.

I may be a little biased however as I work professionally with Softbank's Capital Group :)
