Mr Kobayashi: First, I experienced a sort of overpowering feeling whenever I was in the room with foreigners, not to mention a powerful body odor coming from them. I don't know whether it was a sweat from the heat or a cold sweat, but I remember I was sweating whenever they were around.

China is really incredibly interesting, and I would love to visit there some time, but I'm still terrified of going. If I were to go, I would want to go to Western China as well, but man... I don't know. China is fucked. Has anyone gone there and felt it was "safe" to go? I've visited quite a few countries, Canada, Mexico, (Japan), England, Finland.. but those are all "safe" countries. I've heard it's fine as long as you a) don't tell anyone you have any ties to Japan, and b) stay the hell out of West China.
Also, it sure didn't take long for this thread to get totally fucked.
