I have a Sony Vaio V[color="Red"]xxxx [/color]. I have since formatted it, and re-installed my own OS. This model, like most of them now apparently, didn't come with [color="Red"]xxxx [/color] (an extra 5000円 for them I think). This didn't really worry me, as I don't like "package" stuff anyway.
The problem I do have though is about 50% of my function keys (volume, LCD Light, Zoom etc) don't work now.
I know exactly what I need to get it working, but it is availale not where on the Internet for Japanese models.
Basically I need the Sony [color="Red"]xxxx [/color]The process that this will add is [color="Red"]xxxx [/color] have found a few links, but nothing that has worked. I also found a link to the file on the SonyUS site, but as this is a Japanese model, the installation failed before it began.
SO....the reason I am posting here? Could some one with a [color="Red"]xxxx [/color] burn me a [color="Red"]xxxx [/color]OR rip the stuff I need and host [color="Red"]xxxx [/color]for me pleeasssee
I am pretty sure it doesn't have to be the same model. Anything from around the same time should be fine. I bought it about 1 year ago.If anyone can help, please add me to MSN (foody at tpg.com.au), or email me at the same address. It would be very much appreciated! I have another friend here in Tokyo who is also looking for the same thing, for the same notebook!
Alternatively if anyone can find a link already online that would be awesome!
