The whole simulated existance thing is really selling by the truck-load these days.


Out of interest: what game would you most or least like to see yourself playing that simulates work (or otherwise)?

Yeah, they made a less adult version to cater to the kiddies who weren't old enough to drink. Not that this actually stopped them from drinking anyway.

This game could probably be a lot of fun. It's overpriced though, even in the land of 6,000yen new releases. It's a silly, niche game, but if they priced it at 1,990 or 2,490, they could probably sell a bunch of copies to people who may not have otherwise bought it.

Slashdot (via Gamespot) had a post about this one today - a mere 44 days behind FG. :D

Gamespot does have a nice collection of screenshots up, including one I don't quite get. What's this guy doing in a beef bowl restaurant?

Don't get me wrong, I love Japanese food, but why are Japanese people so obsessed with food? Half of the shows on TV are just about people eating.

The game looks funny though.

Japanese TV regulations require that 25% of all programming to be "educational". Food and quiz shows qualify as "educational". :roll:
