just got round to watching the whole vid, and , yep, fake! shame, the opening part was done so well, if it wasnt done by a pro, in the industry, i`d be well suprised, perhaps its anti marketing by gates' camp? if you get round to seeing it, the clue is in the virtualboy-esque "accessory"

still, whatever the rev turns out to be, its bound to be fun at least.

now if they can just get some good old fashioned games, rather than pretty cartoons purporting to be games, all will be well.

Yep agreed, it's a fake. Expect something sexy next week :)

While not exactly fake, I found this amusing - Xbox 360 demos running on Macs

And people say Macs can't play games. :D

In all seriousness, I think the next round of consoles will be far more interesting than the current generation was/is. MS is getting more serious with its online stuff, and I'm happy to see them pushing HD. As good as the current crop looks on my screen, I'm very eager to see what the increased power can do when output in native 720p.

None of the current X360 videos do a lot for me though, so I want to see what else they're cooking up. Frame City Killer looks like "GTA meets the Matrix" and Condemned appears to be a prettier/gritttiier version of Kingpin. Sega may be onto something with Full Auto though. Burnout + weapons + destructible environments + Prince of Persia time rewinding? :D (Check out gameplay video 4. The opening of that one is pretty sweet.)

It's for real, though Nintendo have said the final design will be smaller than the one shown at E3.

Big, hi-res pic here.

Note the logo. The two O's are different sizes and look like discs - representing 12cm and 8cm media, most likely.
