I am not a dub fan but this anime is great. I hate anime in general but there are a handful that are worthy of viewing. Grave of the Fireflies is another on my list of recommendables.

anyone see that piece on "innocence" last night after dr doolittle? was rather tired, but seemed like a gits follow up, as surely no one would dare rip off Batou so blatantly? (yeh, my yrs of anime are behind me, but for shirow, theres always time.. perhaps for him only ^^)

edit: while pretty to look at, the nausicca anime is shite compared to the too good for words manga..

haven't read through the entire manga....but I'm curious what Disney will butcher out of Nausicaa....?

I recall the hideously edited "Warriors of the Wind" back in the "80's they did when they first tried to introduce Nausicaa to the US that cause Miyazaki to halt US distribution for a long time....
