Do not miss Gamera 3 if you have the chance to see it. It's really what a modern kaiju movie should be. It's totally fucked up, they have a minister of the giant monster and they're makiing conferences like "why giant monsters keep attacking Japan ?".
ALso the final battle is great, what i love about the movie is that even though they had ton of money in it it's still two guys in costume figthning on a set. That's why the american Godzilla will always suck, that and Matthew Broderick of course.

i saw gamera 1 in the prince charles cinema, it was full house, great atmosphere.. good view with a bag fulla space cakes :P
