Shibuya based company Yappa has developed an Osamu Tezuka application for the iphone and itouch which is available now from the App Store. Users will get an official weekly download from Tezuka productions with around 100 pages of the artist's work. The first installment features examples of Testuwan Atomu, aka Astro Boy, and later weeks will cover Tezuka's other major works. The application is apparently free for the first six months and Yappa expects to have a version for Windows Mobile handsets shortly.
