Lesson Plan needed for AEON Interview

Postby Meron-san » Thu May 18, 2006 10:05 pm

Hello everyone, I have just registered because I am really interested in Teaching English in Japan.

I have got an interview coming up in a few weeks, and it requires me to write up a 30 min Lesson Plan and give a presentation for 5min (like a role play snippet of my lesson).

It seems like a lot of the people in this forum have experience, so I though why not ask for some advice and pointers. This task seems quite straight-forward for me, but I would appreciate if someone had info on all the things I should definitly include in the lesson plan, and what errors I should avoid when pitching to them.

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi Meron

You'd probably get more responses from the boards here:

Good luck!

No help re eikaiwa, but don't put -san on the end of your own name.

Aeon like all of them suck a big dick. What age group or level student do you want to target in your sample lesson and when is the interview/presentation?

...and the proper romaji spelling is "gozaimasu".

Seriously. With Japanese adults in a conversation salon setting, just ask them if they have seen a ghost* or if they believe in UFOs. The class will never stop talking.
