Tokyo Advice for Foreign Companies

TMG: Tokyo to Launch a Comprehensive Business Service for Foreign Companies "The Tokyo Business Entry Point"
On August 31, the Bureau of Industrial and Labor Affairs will launch the Tokyo Business Entry Point, a service aiming to help foreign companies establish firm roots in Tokyo. This service will provide comprehensive information on business and daily life to foreign firms and foreign nationals posted to Tokyo. Professional consulting on issues such as tax and law will also be provided via teleconferencing. The Tokyo Business Entry Point will be the first such service in the nation that can accommodate foreign companies already operating in Japan and can provide professional consultations at all times.
An opening ceremony will be held on Wednesday, August 31, 2005 from 3 pm. Operations will commence immediately following the ceremony.

Opening hours:
9:30 a.m.-12:00 p.m. and 1:00 p.m.-5:30 p.m.
Services are available Monday-Friday (closed on Saturdays, Sundays, holidays, and the year-end/New Year holiday)
