Ok, I've been wanting to mention this for awhile, and now the time seems opportune. Two summers ago, a friend from the homeland was visiting and I managed to catch a cold. Felt like a lame ass, as friend wanted to play in Tokyo, and I was feeling semi-cruddy. So, I popped two of those Pavalon Gold cold pills and we went to a tachinomiya in Shinjuku. I decided that alcohol and Pavalon might be a good way to end up in the hospital, which is a good way to end up dead, so I stuck to the ukon cha.
About 10 minutes after I started drinking the second one, man...dimesnsion distortia, ultra-fluid cycling thought, inappropriate effect. Either schitzophrenia or a mild psychedelic trip was going on. Lasted about 30 minutes with no side effects, and the next day my cold was gone.
Tried it again a few weeks later, same results.

No, I do not work for the Pavalon corporation.

By the way, if anyone ever gets sick and knowingly has any traces of anything illegal in them DON'T EVER go to a governmental hospital (Kokuritsu Byoin) If you go to one of them and they detect anything illegal in your system they are by law obliged to inform the police because they are classified as civil servants.

That is strange, isn't it! I worked at a veterinary diagnostic & research facility back in the Good Old Country, and we kept that shit locked up tight.
