How to get vcacined in Tokyo for a trip ot Thailand, Vietnam and Cambodia

Hello,
I will be going to the above countires on the 3rd of November and need ot get a series of pre-emptive medication and vacines beofre hand. In London we have a place called The Hospital For Tropical Diseases, I don't know if such a place exists here.

Whare should I go in Tokyo? Will it cost me an arm and a leg?

3rd of November? You're likely a bit late for vaccine against Hep B (highly recommended). You can get vaccinated at any local clinic and of course the gaijin ones like King Clinic, International Clinic, Akasaka Clinic, etc. Just expect to pay more than if you use your Japanese medical insurance. I got my distemper shots and I'm ready to go out and sniff some doggie butt....

I don't think you need any vaccines.

A hep vaccine is a three part series.

You may want some anti-malarials but I think Japanese doctors agree the side-effects outweigh the benefits.

AK is right - you don't NEED vaccines in that it's not required to enter the country. However , if you plan on engaging in some AK (one of the most popular ways to contract Hep B) you may want to consider it <strongly>. http://wwwn.cdc.gov/travel/destinationCambodia.aspx

I checked and the malaria vaccine is recommended but not required for those countries.

I have been to all of those countries and we didn't get any shots before we left.

We did have to be dosed for parasites on our return though.

GG is right...you dont need the shots. Just be careful with the food in Cambodia.
