Need a to get a document notarized

Postby FG Lurker » Thu Apr 24, 2008 9:48 am

I need to get a document notarized that I then have to courier to E*Trade in the US. Does anyone know a good place to get this done in Osaka and what I can expect to pay?

Even as a Canadian can I use the US consulate for this? I would have gone to the Canadian one except the bastard c-gov't shut it down. Fuckers.

[Edit: Just read the link. Thank's Greiji!]

I was at the consulate this morning and got it taken care of. Cost was $30 which is very reasonable compared to what the Japanese notaries charge. 4300yen to fedex the damn document though! The guy at Kinko's was incompetent too, had to write the farkin form out three times.

Thanks for the pointer Greiji, much appreciated!
