Got everything hooked up last week, but I've been calling all day, every day to cancel the NTT Flets connection...to no avail. Tried a few different numbers and they keep sending me back to the same number that I can't get a hold of anyone at. They prorate it so for everyday you can't cancel, it costs you. The J-com dude said "don't let them send someone out to uninstall the modem....they'll charge you for every day you're connected and then some sort of uninstall service fee.....yet if you say you've already uninstalled the modem and just need to send it in, they'll cancel the service right away send you a chakubarai bag to return it in." Anyone have any suggestions? I'm pretty close to making an appearance at one of their offices to smash them in the face with the modem...

I`d take the modem along with any contract paperwork you might have to one of their offices. They will charge you a huge amount if you haven`t had it for the minimum two years, so you will want the papaerwork to show the date in installation.

Case-by-case most strongly applies to the service industry, methinks.
