Japanese kids required to sing kimigayo during earthquakes

What about having the kids sing the anthem whenever North Korea or China does a missile test, or a Japanese sport teams losing to a non-Japanese team?

those tinfoil hats better be made in the shape of a pyramid, or they will do no good..

is the title of this thread a joke (please tell me it is)? i didnt see anything in the original article about singing during earthquakes...

Taro spotted that they were using a picture of school earthquake practice to illustrate a story about compulsory anthem singing.
