I can't say whether those signs are in Japanese or not.

If you look carefully, the sign on the platform reads "Line 3/4", which is definitely a route in Shanghai.

My bet is that as China never ever copies anything, JR designers must have teleported into the future to steal the idea for that sign.

I can't say whether those signs are in Japanese or not.

I can't discern the writing either but the "Courtesy Seat" logo is pure Japanese.
