Simon and Garfunkel Osaka Concert

Postby FG Lurker » Tue Jul 14, 2009 12:55 am

Did anyone else catch the Simon and Garfunkel concert tonight at Osaka Dome?

They put on a great show, really enjoyed it. Had a very good seat too, centre of the 12th row. :)

Are they still alive?

I suppose they are as young as Greji's grandkids though.

Still alive and still putting on a great show. They had an incredible band backing them and Paul Simon's voice doesn't seem to have changed at all.

Garfunkel might be that old....
Did they, or will they have a show in Tokyo? I saw them advertised on TV and they gave the usual 2 second spot for the phone number to call for details and tickets.

as best as i can ascertain from this chap's blog entry, it looks as though they performed in tokyo before last night's concert in osaka, and are now on their way to oz and nz.

Actually I think they did Aus and NZ before coming to Japan. Osaka, Nagoya, and Tokyo concerts are done, just one more in Sapporo on the 18th.

It was perfect seating! Rows were 250 seats across and I was in 119 so it was pretty much bang in the middle.

I had 8th row centre seats for Sting a couple of years ago, that was a great concert too.
