That was a good one to upload KG. I thought it might be Coil for some reason. I like Joy Division a pretty lot but I haven't listened to New Order as closely as I probably should.

This is Japan-related. I watched them in Tokyo this past week.

There's a Japanese link for this guitarist and this bassist but the bands they are connected with are certainly not J-Pop

Might go a AK style answer, they both fed it to D'Arcy in a Tokyo 3-way?

Yup the first guy is James Iha, formerly of Smashing Pumpkins. The second guy is in a British band. Their drummer commited suicide but the bassist and guitar kept going and had their biggest seller in 2003.

I can`t vouch for any three-way action...

Feeder and Smashing Pumpkins, dead drummers, members with Japanese names..

*had to google it, never heard of feeder before*

I wouldn't have got it but I worked it out only because I know who the Captain went to see the other day. I think he should break the news...

I just now realized that I typed out Garvin instead of Marvin
But didn't you all know that Garvin was really Marvin's evil twin (much like Rob Pongi & the Evil Pongi)...you didn't? well now you know!
All this above BS is no excuse for having mis-spelt Marvin. I'll just slink off in embarassment now
