Not much. Ghost are on a bill of 7 bands at Holiday Shinjuku on the 30th. The Jetze Johnson have a gig and, if you want to go retro, Pink Lady are playing too. On the foreign gig front, Lemon Jelly, Prefuse 73 and Suzanne Vega will be here.

That's a little steep for me just to hear "Luka."

Tickets at Duo are always too damn expensive and there are four filthy great pillars making the back third something of a viewing lottery. Unless you are skilled enough to blag your way into the guest balcony, give it a miss. And the venue blurb claims it was designed by Jay Kay of Jamiroquai. Maybe he was wearing one of his especially large hats and couldn't see anything.

General question: Where can I buy tickets overseas for Fuji 2005? Or should I not even bother (as I think I read somewhere that it doesn't sell out)

Smash Promotions set up overseas ticket sales last year but, so far, they haven't put up details on their website. The domestic ticket sales started March 12th. Details in English:

Last year, they sold only three-day tickets but they have reintroduced the day ticket for this year's event. The catch is that there will only be 10,000 day tickets for each day and there is a chance that these will sell out, meaning you would have to fork out for a three-day.
Last year wasn't a sell-out and that may have been the reason Smash opened up overseas ticket sales. The problem last year was that there were a lot of summer gigs including two other major festivals. Since Fuji had changed their ticket policy, if you went to Fuji, you probably couldn't afford to go to another event. I know some fans who gave up on Fuji in favour of going to the other festivals on day tickets.
This year, the Summer Sonic line-up is strong but that is the only other major event so ticket sales for Fuji are expected to be better than last year.

Well, they are the promoter and that's how they did it last time. I see they are only offering 3 Day tickets - I haven't checked if the one day tickets are all gone. If you don't have a way to buy them in Japan then that'll be the only route outside of buying a package from a tour company.
