Boredoms to play the US

Postby Mulboyne » Fri Feb 11, 2005 12:05 am

Attention Mr Sparkle:

Pitchforkmedia: Boredoms Book North American Shows
And now, once again out of the blue, we've been handed a couple of U.S. tour dates from our legendary freak-out friends from the East. Of course, straight information is always hard to come by with the Boredoms, so while this may not be Gospel, it sure is damned tantalizing. No?
05-17 Los Angeles, CA - Knitting Factory
05-19 San Francisco, CA - The Independent
05-21 Chicago, IL - Logan Square Auditorium
05-23 Victoriaville, Quebec - Festival Actuelle
05-25 New York, NY - Bowery Ballroom (w/ Jim O'Rourke)

The Justice League?
Kick ass! I've seen them at the same place when it was called The Kennel Club 12 years ago.

Maybe Rob Pongi was with me? Or was that Mark Darms? Both? Ah hell, that was a looooong time ago!

Back again, including Europe:

Pitchfork: Boredoms to Tour Europe, America
It's been the Boredoms' career-long mission to inspire anything but. After a brief detour as V8redoms, the legendary Japanese psych-avant-noise-whatever legends are back at last to save the world...

05-22 Berlin, Germany - Maria am Ostbahnhof
05-26 Dublin, Ireland - Temple Bar Music Centre
05-29 London, England - Shepherds Bush Empire
06-01 Barcelona, Spain - Primavera Festival
06-24 Chicago, IL - Intonation Music Festival
06-25 St. Paul, MN - Turf Club
06-27 Columbus, OH - Wexner Center
06-28 Cleveland Heights, OH - Grog Shop
