[floatr]Image[/floatr]Mercury Blogs: Can one of Japan's Biggest Rock Acts Break Big in the US?
Based on its San Francisco debut at the Fillmore Thursday the Japanese band HYDE may be hard rock's answer to baseball's Ichiro Suzuki and Hideki Matsui. i bought his domestic cd, Faith, and it kicks much Hyde ass. love it. the first song, jesus christ, is so-so, but all the rest of them r0ck. considering it's the sweet price of $14.98 as opposed to an import price... bitchin :) love The Pillows, too. they have a new cd coming out in the states also, along with PuffyAmiYumi and Nana Kitade.
it's always 5 o'clock somewhere :kanpai:
