It sounds like some things got rost in transration but I hope they didn't try to translate the lyrics too.

*As I was writing this, I was wondering if rap CDs even had lyrics in the jacket sleeves..

You can still dig up good rap just like you can still dig up good rock and country music. However, there is no denying that the standard is a lot shittier than what it used to be. It seems to happen with all forms of music.

I'm going to have to disagree. I think theres even more great stuff being made out there today than in the past. The difference is that its being made by smaller fringe artist with the internet being their sole distribution method instead of major record labels.
