Kinda....but where Paris was actively Cock Jerking to blow, Havill had to endure a blow-up from a different type of CJ.

The parking of the juminhyo for a PR out of the country sounds similar to the procedure for non-resident citizens. I know Japanese people heading on long term assignments used to try to leave before the end of December, so they didn't trigger local taxes for the next year. These are people that went away a while a go, no idea if this is still true. Equally some got stung for back health insurance payments for the period out of Japan, so there might be a procedure to make sure you don't have this nice surprise to come back to when you enter the system.

This is supposedly what the new system offers over the old. And yes, you do the same procedure that a nihonjin would do. Go to your ward office, tell them you're on extended assignment. You lose your address registration. Then they have you go buy the NHS department and general tax department. At some point they (supposedly) calculate how much you actually need to pay for your health care, and then it stops. Supposedly this is the same for the tax part as well.

If you've been in Japan over 5 years and so a permanent tax resident, would still you still need to have to file taxes in Japan? Or is a non-resident permanent resident also a non taxable permanent tax resident?

No, not if you don't reside in Japan. Japanese earning cash abroad while physically abroad are not bound to pay taxes on foreign earned income... neither are PR gaijin who are residing out of the country.

Another curveball: What about a PR gaijin or nihonjin living abroad, and made money remotely (say, for translating something for a Japanese company) and the payment was made to a Japanese bank. How is the tax figured out?

Have you ever seen the way companies calculate allowances and the like here? It's like overtime rates for the first 90 minutes are 0.1432 days/hour x 14 days minus 6 weeks for expenses multiplied by 35 then subtract 2 and divide by 15 (or, you get the idea).
I'm sure they'll have no problems...this cuntry is expert at keeping leeches in the legal, accounting and HR fields in employment.

Sadly that's not unique to Japan.

I'm just like Paris except I have a lot less nip slips and paparazzi crotch shots.

Also, Britney Spears does not reply to my tweets.

You are the guy who have the same nickname as the WOPR in war games ?

ERMARGERD I'm talking to a celerbritrieze... My mum will never believe it !!!!! (Well, mostly due to the fact that she's shitfaced drunk 24/7 and that I don't speak to her since a little after the 2nd WTC attack...)

it's true that you haz n00dies picshure of Hiroko Tabuchi ? I wanted to cast her for a pr0n remake of the Rocky Horror picture show but since I was aiming for a fartcapella version I add to cast only Germans... Then the project got canned because of sudden raise in cabbage prices... But I still think that a musical entirely rendered with farts would be awesome...
