A commenter over on Click Opera mentioned the 1966 Indian film "Love In Tokyo" which I thought cropped up on these forums before but I can't find the reference. Happily, someone put up a clip of the song "Japaaan - Love in Tokyo" on YouTube back in January. I like the way, near the beginning, that the male lead carries his loved one over a crossing outside Tokyo Station and then uncermoniously dumps her on the pavement. Perhaps Greji can identify the club in the scene at the end. There are two reviews with still shots from the film here and here.
