French police opened an investigation on Wednesday following the death of a man in his 50s after he downed 56 shots during a drinking competition.

The man, who was not named, was attempting to beat the previous record of 55 shots in a bar in Clermont-Ferrand in central France on Friday.

"He swallowed around 30 glasses in the space of a minute," a police source told AFP.

The man was driven home in a drunken stupor and emergency services took him in later that night.

How did the previous dude survive that kind of alcohol poisoning? (or is he dead too?)

And Coligny? What of Coligny?

I think it's safe to say that the "just working on his car" theory has passed its expiry date.

What theory? That's what he told me. Probably just moved into his bunker annex and is retrofitting the anti-zombie features to the perimeter. (oh how I wish I could do that to my vehicle...walking dead are already here in droves!)

Yea I'm into SC. Mostly because I played the original back in highschool on the weekends. Kinda nostalgic in a way. I never got into WC, I guess I just never had much time to game even in HS.

Still a hardcore Terran. I'll use Protoss from time to time. And the Zerg just to change things up a bit. The storyline for the Zerg Campaign was pretty cool I thought. They brought back Alexi.

Hey Coligny, You liked the Midnight Meat Train this one seems to have the same kind of Vibe.

I had a buddy of mine who worked the Embassy in Paris. Not sure which building though. Swore it was haunted as all Hell and you could go into some tunnel network from the basement. Any truth to that? I do know it's the only U.S. Embassy post where you won't immediately be relieved for cause if you have a negligent discharge of your firearm. Well that was more than a decade ago, not sure that's still true now though. Also heard they changed buildings, not sure about that either.

Heard aboot it when they did special youtubes with PewDiePie, not sure if I'm going to like the whole surnatural guilt-flashback side.

As for the catacombs links. Yes, it's a complete clusterfuck as there is nearly nothing properly mapped, old buildings have access door walled, some just locked, some opened, sometimes you just access the sewers, sometimes it's old mine tunnels, sometime it's the bona fide catacomb. It's such a mess that the Sacre Coeur seems to have risks of sinkholing... That's also why they digged so deep for the fundation of the Montparnasse tower, to be sure it was over something at least filled in if not strong... It's also an aggravating factor for the river seine floods. Because she start filling underground tunnels, and when she finally break out of her main canal, there are usually simultaneous flood outpours from all the overflowing tunnels, meaning you are not just dealing with a river breaking its banks, but a surprisingly much wider area turned into a swamp.
Installing cabling or building new subway lines is usually a game of patience... if you are lucky you just go wildly over budget because you fell head to head with massive half collapsed tunnels. If not, you dig right in the middle of an historical site... and you can kiss your schedule goodbye...

The College de Fr4nce main site place Marcellin Berthellot through the building F have acces, as well as sewer and the underground bunker. There is some stuff also under the main entrance/parade/ground, when they dug to make a parking they found Roman ruins and had to change all their plans, turning most into either conference rooms or private reception offices. The tunnels are lit from the bottom of the walls floor is white polished stones... Straight out of an XFiles conspiracy episode... (which, with the number of fr33macons there would not be too far from the truth)
