For her next bout, Nakai needs to lose some muscle mass and move to Strawweight. She's simply too small to compete at 135 pounds and does not need the excessive muscle. When facing women her own size, her Judo skills might actually be quite effective.

her camp said that she can't lose that much weight... similar bullshit excuse that Cyborg (Chris... not the other Cyborgs out there) and her camp used to try to get Ronda up to 145.
she was out classed in every aspect in that fight... her stand up was below par and her reach was not helping that out at all. But she could be the Ronda Rousey of Strawweight if she ups her stand up.
But then again like most Japanese fighters, they need to go overseas and train IMO. Look at Gomi, got KTFO by a "nobody" (for the casual fans out there, I know who Miles is). Fighters these days are more skilled than some champions in the early days of MMA. Seriously, you got kids doing Muay Thai in Holland or Thailand, doing BJJ in California or even Brazil, out to the midwest for wrestling, seeing the best stand up coaches in the world, all to improve their entire game. These Japanese fighters are in their comfort zone, limited range of skills from other fighters, and are the stars of their gym. They will not get the pressure or level of competition that they will face in the UFC that way... they might have to stick with ONE FC or Invicta if they want a fight career, but that is just low level stuff in the grand scheme of things.
