It may come as a shock, but it is not all about YOU YOU YOU.

I was referring to the weeaboos you feel sorrow for.

But, hey, it seems I struck a nerve somewhere there, which is interesting in itself. You also seem to have mixed feelings about Tama, simultaneously intense pride and intense shame. That is not uncommon.

One could almost say it is appropriately Tama-shii......if one made those sorts of jokes.

BTW, those weebos don't really deserve any sympathy, and pity would be presumptuous: they actually are every bit as witless, feckless and fuckwitted as they seem when you first meet them. And it's all downhill from there.

And Tacky your extreme sensitivity about somebody calling you a mummy's boy, even when he didn't, is telling. I suppose that's where your hatred of women, especially Japanese women, comes from. I'd get help if I were you. Never too late and you still have the rest of your life ahead of you. Good luck

i am a calm and humble person placing significance on rationality and liking to be alone.
regardless of whether woman or not, i just really dont like the whole fellows who cant appropriately control their wild/animal/primitive passions. after weakening my libido because of becoming an oyaji, woman is just a nuisance for me. my policy toward women is neither too close to nor too distant.

this kind of recklessness and stupidity in a good way is absolutely needed for gaijins to assimilate into introvert j-society, most of whose ppl still doesnt know how to treat non-japanese. you guys need to follow his example to get off the cow-smelling gaijin tour bus.

Random Gaijin Video of the Day

Postby Yokohammer » Sun Sep 25, 2016 4:14 pm

I can think of several major cities in civilized (in the relative sense) countries where this a-hole wouldn't survive three seconds with that schtick. Probably why he does it in Japan. Just because people don't complain, or beat the living shit out of him, doesn't mean that what he's doing isn't disrespectful. Of course he's too fucking stupid and head-over-heels in love with himself to realize that.

If you're guessing that I hate people like this, you guess right.

I could live on plain flapjacks if it came to it, though I am partial to the yoghurt, peanut butter and whatever the rests of yooz calls butterscotch covered ones. They're yummy. The choccy looks yummy too, but the gluten and dairy...........

Yeah, yeah, but those müeslis were designed for the farmer, who would climb up his steep mountain after breakfast and then burn a couple ten-thousand calories swinging a shovel/pickaxe/pitchfork in his field all day long.

Today's skinny selfiestick-hipster needs some bio-organic vegan gluten-free sugarless unsalted low-fat halal kosher genetically engineered emptiness for breakfast, not oats.

why the fuck are you dudes so negative to him? this british guy still looks young. young men are so reckless and stupid that they can tackle with anything and learn it directly through their skin. i expect this kind of stupid guy eventually rises above you average "decent" gaijin guys having only top-heavy view of japan.

and by the way, my everyday breakfast is oatmeal soaked in coconut milk and added yogurt, honey and several kind of nuts.

Take-chan,

If you like oatmeal, try boiling it in chuka-dashi (中華だし)and topping it with some sesame oil and finely chopped scallion (ワケギ). You have to get the proportions right, but when you do it is delicious. You can do the same with Japanese dashi, and top it with an ume-boshi and/or some mitsuba or similar.

Just don't eat it on a (commuter) train.

Interestingly, you could eat it on a long-distance train with box seats or the Shinkansen with no problem at all. It's also interesting that although the Tokaido line is a long-distance train, it is only appropriate to eat on it once you're past Odawara (approximately), heading west. There are no written rules, that's just the way it works.

And that's the point. "When in Rome ..." is the Golden Rule of travel and being an expat. You don't try to force your values on another culture, and you don't act like an idiot simply because you can get away with it. You observe and learn the rules, and try to behave in a way that is not disruptive to the local culture. If you think your culture is better, stay there. You can "share" ... in fact sharing is desirable ... but you don't get in people's faces and make them uncomfortable with it. Share if asked. Don't force it.

In this case the idiot was:

1. Eating on a commuter train, which is against the rules. A candy bar, maybe, but a bowl of oatmeal? Nope. He did that fully intending to make people uncomfortable.
2. Harassing people on the train, which is against the rules and makes people uncomfortable.
3. Filming people without their permission, which is also against the rules and makes people uncomfortable.

He also talks funny, but we'll let that one go.

So sorry, no tolerance from this old guy. All of the above are anti-social behaviour. Mr. Oatmeal Eater is a public nuisance who is not contributing in any positive way to international relations. His little ego trip can only do damage.

We used to goof around on the Yamanote Line too, but that's the sticker for me: this was planned. It's Cultural Jackass without the nutsacking at the end when they run into the handrail, because even FOB weebos know nobody in Japan will do anything. What worries me is about half the passengers probably thought it was pretty funny, like Takeapoo does. Those portable cameras are one of the worst threats to the right to be left alone, and that allows for how funky and useful they are when in the hands of non-A-holes.
Are they easily broken, like drones? That would be a great Jackass ending.

"Hey, man, cool camera, can I take a look at that?"

I couldn't really follow why that would break anything: did he not land feet first in the water? I am talking about applying ample heel pressure to said object, though I suppose just chucking it out onto the tracks would solve the oatmeal problem.............just because it would be funny to prank these Georgie Porgie type pranksters.
