Too many thefts these days. ;) This one seems to be the guy who stole 4 rings worth 15mil yen.

Yes, sorry about that. I think watches were stolen in that "hole in the wall" robbery. Anyone got the time?

I finished my last minute Christmas shopping at that same exact place. I wished the robbery occurred at the same time I was there so I could have snuck out without paying for it. :cry2:

What do you mean now? Didn't everybody and everything come from Korea?

HK has nabbed some guys for the Ginza job:

AFP: Hong Kong police arrest six in $3 mln Tokyo heist
Hong Kong police have arrested six people in connection with a three-million-US dollar luxury watch heist in Tokyo, a report said Saturday. Three men and three women -- all Chinese -- are suspected of involvement in the theft of 200 luxury watches last week at a store in the upmarket Ginza shopping district of the Japanese capital, Radio Television Hong Kong reported. Thieves bored through the shop's walls to get at the watches, Tokyo police said previously. RTHK said a number of the stolen watches had been recovered in the southern Chinese city.

A guy has stolen some rings from a Taipei jeweller using an identical m.o. as the Shinjuku case and police suspect it is the same man. He introduced himself to staff in English as having arrived from Japan. Taipei police think they may be able to work out his identity.
