Here's a recent interview. He seems to have become a bit more articulate over the years. I can actually sympathize with a lot of what he's saying.

think they made a mistake with the subtitles at the end of the first video "Just buy it" gets translated as "pass", maybe they mixed up "buy" and "by"

He's got better with age, but he still has that habit of criticizing everything but not really offering much of substance himself. Having said that he gets a big thumbs up from me for slagging off the Beatles & the Stones, two bands I have disliked since my youth.

He's also a bit full of sh!t saying he can't afford to record, he made a packet on property deals in LA and it isn't like you need to spend a fortune on recording equipment these days. Perhaps he feels the need to have a dedicated studio and lots of people to stroke his ego and push buttons while he plays the "artiste".

He also mixes up music and clothes, find that a bit contradictory, coming from someone that talks about honesty, anyone can buy a nice jacket.
