Hi, I've been living in Osaka for a while and shot this video together with a friend of mine, an Australian DOP and Director who lives in Tokyo. it's meant to be a tongue in cheek look at western perceptions of Japanese Hentai.

All comments and feedback welcome, I think that fucked gaijin will like it!

fair enough, well I've been in Japan a while but been flat out trying to figure out how to survive over here. I do have a day job, working in video and post production and doing alright at it.

What do you mean "didn't start"? Couldn't hear it at all, or you think it doesn't kick in hard enough?

Your thread title "music video shot in Dotonbori, Osaka love hotels" is a bit misleading as most "music videos" are just that, videos of singers/bands performing songs.
Whereas this video features a couple of somewhat expressionless J girls having pseudo sex with a couple of oversized teddy bears, with a techno beat as BGM.

Lots of music videos don't show the band performing and have a narrative. Ever heard of Chris Cunningham? Here's one of his vids that also features Osaka. He had a bit more of a budget than we did

The music is dubstep, it might not be your thing but it's kind of popular at the moment.

The "techno beat" was the music (ASS = U + ME)ing that they made that video for some dj...

i liked it. then again, The Prodigy's Smack My Bitch Up had a similar feeling to it.

There are lots of very sad people who will click on anything if they think they will see nekkid photos. (Yes I know that applies to most of the members here as well)

I like the way the video itself is shot though I would have liked it more if the girls were hot and nude. Artistically though I think it's more interesting that they aren't that hot.
