Well I'll be heading back in August (by the looks of things) and a company is sponsoring me. For now I'll leave the companies name off this post, we can get to that another time.
Now all of my papers had been submitted in the beginning of June to the J-Govn't which is all cool and groovy for now. Originally when speaking to the recruiter, I was told it could take up to three months for the J-govn't to go through everything and issue my certificate of elligibility. Now three weeks ago (a week or so after my sponsor submitted the papers), they had told me it would only be another month (in other words, a month and a week).
The big question is this... for those in the know, just how long is it taking these days for the J-Govn't to get through their bureaucratic filing and such to issue these letters of eligibility? My good buddy who had me go to Japan in the first place years ago was telling me it used to take up to half a year... well if you've read the VIP section, you'll know that I've been about as patient as possible.
Any thoughts?
