San-X – Rirakkuma bear earthquake kit
---Cute stuffed bear stuffed with survival gear for kids in Japan---

Akihabara News / Feb. 28. 2013
A fun and convenient way for your kids to remember to grab their emergency earthquake kits is to make them out of a cute stuffed animal or toy. These are popular with parents and kids in Japan.
Rirakkuma is a great example of this. Rirakkuma is a combination of Japanese words for “relax” and “bear” and is a popular teddy bear product in Japan made by San-X. The earthquake kit version of Rirakkuma can be stocked with necessary emergency supplies and will be naturally close at hand for kids among their toys and in their beds.
There are other popular versions of this including “Hello Kitty” a cute cat for girls made by Sanrio...more...

Yea... there is no chance at all that the kid will take the wrong plush toy... no sireeee...

what's next in the "idea so bad that someone deserve to be shot" departement ? novelty fire extinguisher shaped like toilet paper refill ? rat poison shaped like candy bars... or better, hairdryer shaped like yellow bath toy ducky, no way something wrong could happen with a creation like this...

In other news the french asshole from akihabarenews is still alive...

Uhhhh, you'd trust your children to grab "their emergency kit?" Who does this? I can understand if the kid has food allergies, the need for certain foods to be set aside but don't most families have a single stash of emergency goods or "oh shit bag?"
