Are you ready for the Aptronymic Resistentialist Apocalypse!

It has begun. Many of us that can SEE PATTERNS have known for some time that THINGS are against us. Judging by this news story of a horrific fire in the aptly named Torch Tower, it would seem that the minions of aptronymy have finally joined forces with the resistentialist militia.

It is comforting to know that the bringers of doom have a sense of humour.

Follow up edit:
Well, this is certainly the hot topic on the Interwebz tonight. Glad to hear that all were safe, though I am sure a lot of residents are feeling tired, or, dare I say it, downright burnt out from this harrowing experience. It certainly sounds like the buildng managers need to check on those fire alarms that forgot to ring; perhaps this will light a fire under their fat, lazy behinds. I suppose one bright note about such disaster stories is how rarely they lead to flame wars on the discussion boards. When the chips are down it seems that cooler heads prevail.
