The very first detective (belonging to the portuguese 'CSI team' equivalent) found clear evidence that their parents were involved in the disapearence.
After many strange cover ups, the detective was taken out from the case and ended up jobless. Many of that evidence disapeared or ended up ignored later when British investigations started. Even the satelitte footage of the 'event' misteriously disapeared.
The parents are still getting millions for the "Find madeline McCain" cause.
Holy fucking shit... You should work for Fox News... Or stop tripping balls on horse tranquilizer...
For those who want a better idea of the case, including the proper name of the victim and the dodginess of the first detective:

Yeah, in fact the alchool level in blood was a little high, and last time I heard something about this case was many years ago, sorry about the victim name.
I was in Portugal at that time and I remember the Portuguese news reporting the police work and the eventual involvement of her parents, but English tabloids always protected the couple.
And you shouldn't believe in everything you read in the wiki, the link you provided seems a little biased and with false statements, I changed the wiki language to Portuguese and I can read a different story. (should we believe this one?)
Sorry for the off-topic.

Which is perfectly fine with me.
When I search for "car", I do not want an explanation in Swahili...

Coligny,
Seriously, dood. Total logic fail there. Remember back when Lycos searches on "Japanese Rural Socioeconomic Redevelopment" came back 98% pron results?????? We don't want a babylonian version of that, now do we?
Samurai_Jerk wrote:That's what Boolean searches are for. But you already knew that.
