The Neocons and the Woke Left Are Joining Hands and Leading Us to Woke War III
The online mob has decided that any support for a negotiated settlement—even proposals that Zelensky himself appeared to support at the beginning of the war—is tantamount to taking Russia's side, denouncing voices of compromise and restraint as Putin apologists. This removes them from acceptable discourse and shrinks the Overton window to those advocating the total defeat of Russia and an end to Putin's regime—even if it risks WWIII.
'Recent video coming out of Ukraine recorded by mobilized Russian conscripts captures the dire circumstances in which Russian troops are operating without orders and equipment.'
Uneventful cell phone video coming out of Bakhmut captures Ukrainian troops standing by for a Russian offensive on the Ukrainian side of the Bakhmut "No-Man's Land."
There may not appear to be a lot happening in this video, but take special note of the ambient noise that's being recorded in the background. I imagine the situation here is much like the ambiance and feeling you would find in a 1917 trench line as Allied forces waited for German advances in small Belgian villages that no one had ever heard of before.
The primary difference between now and then however is that today we get to virtually sit in the trench with the fighters on the front-line instead of just reading about it in a newspaper weeks after the fighting had finished. Maybe this time we'll learn something about it and realize that these are real people with real lives having their life negatively impacted by a conflict that their politicians started..
Probably not.
Kamala Harris said that Ron DeSantis doesn't understand the complexity of the war in Ukraine and its impact on U.S. sovereignty in a late-night interview where she was caught off-guard when asked to detail the true role of the vice president.
President Joe Biden's No. 2 laughed it off when The Late Show host Stephen Colbert asked her if being vice president was like an episode of Veep, to which Harris grinned and said parts of the sitcom are 'actually quite accurate.'
Her attack on DeSantis during the show Wednesday evening came after the Florida governor called the war in Ukraine a 'territorial dispute' and joined others who bashed Biden for sending billions in aid.
Harris, who Biden says has every intention of being on his ticket if he runs for reelection in 2024, is visiting Iowa on Thursday for her first trip to the early primary contest state since taking office.

That's probably another good way to avoid getting drafted.
