It hasn't happened yet, but that's no reason to expect that it won't.

Agreed 100% about not wanting more attacks , but, Gotoh was warned and had a choice, he didn't need to go and could have translated international news.
What will draw more attention in Japanese news today? Paris massacre or an AKB48 girl shagging a dude?
Of course Gotoh didn't deserve what happened. Haruna should have stayed in Kabukicho, no further comment.
Abe is retarded beyond belief, not only does he not accept fully the shit his ancestors caused, but he seems intent on reliving his ancestors vision of Japan being a world power. It isn't. It's a backwater. Hi tech backwater but nonetheless.
So he should shut up about terrorist activities which don't involve Japan, then no one will take notice. America on the other hand will bomb anyone, and we all know how successful that has been since WW11
Oh, and the day Japan puts boots on the ground in any conflict, is the day that Japan should be forced to accept the repercussions, like a million refugees looking for safe haven (read: benefits)

Sure about that?
U.S. Warns of Possible Terrorist Attack in JapanThe U.S. embassy in Tokyo today warned Americans living in Japan to be on a heightened state of alert for possible terrorist attacks.
In a one-sentence statement released today, the embassy said it had received unconfirmed information of "terrorist actions" against U.S. military facilities or against establishments frequented by U.S. military personnel.

I think it is more likely and I don't like to speculate where it will happen.

A French journalist who lives in an apartment behind the Bataclan in Paris captured harrowing footage of concertgoers attempting to escape the concert hall during Friday's terror attacks before he was wounded trying to help a victim on the street below.
Daniel Psenny, a journalist at Le Monde, was working at home when he heard what he thought were firecrackers.
"The TV was on — it was showing a movie in which Jean-Hugues Anglade plays a cop," Psenny said in an interview with the newspaper. "I heard a noise like firecrackers, and at the beginning I was convinced that it was in the movie. But the noise was loud, so I went to the window."
He lives on the second floor overlooking the Bataclan's emergency exits.
[...]
Psenny decided to go down to open the door to the apartment building so victims could take shelter.
"I opened the door of the building, and there was a man lying on the sidewalk," he said. "With another man, I pulled him into the lobby."
That's when Psenny believes he was shot in the left arm.
"I must have taken a bullet at that moment," he said. "I don't remember it; it's a blank. But I remember feeling like a firecracker was exploding in my left arm, and I saw that it was pissing blood."

Take-chan,
"Kamikaze" has become synonymous with "suicide bombing." You might want to think about why that is so. In fact, you should be proud that another Japanese word has entered the mainstream.
As for the French flag, the point you're missing is that it is a universally understood symbol of freedom and unity that resonates with many, many people all around the world. You might not get it, but I certainly do, and that is why I currently have a French flag as my Facebook avatar. I am quite happy to be that kind of moron.
Liberté, égalité, fraternité.

That really depends on where you lived. In Seattle where I was at the time it wasn't a problem.

That's sort of nice. I've never lived anywhere where it was okay to be French, which kinds of takes the fun out of pretending it's not.
Or did you mean being against the invasion of Iraq?

I'm waiting to see if anyone from his circle challenges him but so far, nothing. It rather puts their prayers into perspective.

I can’t believe you pretend to understand them, but I have popcorn. Even given the exchange rate, if I bet you 5 Canadian you wouldn't know why I am once again calling you a perma-newbie, woodya?
BTW, hilariously cute stuff. You're like a mildy pissy Panda bear we all need to hug.
