it's been a rumor for some time now.

The longer story is Akio is greedy. The new car is a concept to answer the rumored Beat which will either not happen or will be a total failure.

The 86 was put together because nissan was doing research and testing to see if a S16 silvia could be a profitable venture. Instead it seems that they will be making the fairlady smaller and give it a turbo four.

The supra is in the works. This seems like a image project like the LFA and will probably cost a silly amount of money. There is a rumor of a JDM only turbo six, two door NISMO V37 skyline for 2015, so the supra may happen.

A base model fit is 1,200,000 yen.

The base model 86 is over 2,000,000 after fees, and assuming you buy proper wheels and tires for it, and paint the bumper it's more like 2,300,000... and fully loaded they are over 3,000,000.

In my opinion, more sports cars = more better.

The problem being that the 86 is already an entry-level sports car. What we need is a turbocharged 2.5 liter version of the 86.
