visa rules

Postby homesweethome » Thu Sep 15, 2005 9:03 am

I got this from a fellow fg and I am not up to date on current visa rules. Any help in answering this persons questions would be appreciated.

Actually I wanted to ask your advice about opening
a business here as I have some foreseeable problems or questions.

One, is following that Japans new start up law in April, 2006, I
wanna incorporate a cafe business in hopes that I can get a business visa
since I currently only have the one year teaching visa. I have a Japanese
business partner who could be my guarantor, so I was wondering how possible it
is for me to get a business or investor visa?? Is one easier to get than the
other? I have about 40k in dollars capitol I`m bringing in.

Second, if I do succeed in pulling this off,
if I were to make more money than my 30million yen
ekaiwa slave salary, say for ex. 60million, should I even report? Or would I be caught if they some how found out my visa changed to business?? Or latter on if I were to
make more than 100million yen??

30 Million Yen!!! I have been wasting my time on the wrong career.
Alcohol, Tobacco & Firearms should be the name of a store, not a government agency.

I would assume there is an extra zero in those figures. In fact, I need to assume that to protect my mental health.
