Tokyo Game Show 2005: Massive 3G Mobile Display
wirelesswatch.jp, Sat. Sept 16, 2005, WWJ Viewpoint---
...Tokyo Game Show opened yesterday for a three day run at Chiba's Makuhari Messe Convention Center. Eager to showcase their mobile gaming platforms, DoCoMo set up a giant booth splashed in black paint over yellow for a "street style" look. Multiple mobile play stations circling the entire area had event goers lined up ten deep to try out mobile games like Monster Hunter, Sonic, Gundam, and many more....
Watch their video taken at TGS: WMP (28MB), Real, (12MB) or QT format (28MB).

Wow, this is really the future. Imagine sending that chick back in time, say, a mere 20 years back. Some one would ask what that ugly birthmark on her back is, and why there are words under it. Then imagine her trying to explain that you can point a device at the "birthmark" to obtain unseen information, and that the words underneath it will take you to a virtual world that is globally connected to billions of people.

It would sound like she's quoting a sci-fi novel, not simply explaining new technology. :three:

Search for "qrcode" on Google. There are plenty of tools out there for generating them.

Taro-san: Hisashi-burri desu ne.. 8)

Glad you got a kick out of that TGS video clip (luv your custom animated .gif..!!), it was a fun run out there on friday. That booth babe really was a pretty sweet girl and that QR code did actually link to their web-site (Genki Mobile) when I tried it too, very cool marketing idea..!!

btw: It would be great if the links would target to the article, both from both here and on 3yen.com.. if possible..?!?

Here's more info on QR Codes

Cheers!
