ASSAULT--- People at the Harajuku Bridge at the entrance Meiji Shrine and Yoyogi Park called the police and reported seeing a photographer being assaulted by two women about 2 p.m. Sunday and that one of the women brandished a knife.
When the police arrived the found Albert Siegel, a foreign tourist who just arrived in Japan Friday, moaning on the ground with massive injuries to his groin.
He reported that two young women dressed in skimpy "visual kei" clothing had attacked him when he attempted to photograph them. He said the two young women stomped him leaving him with a mass of bruises on his body and badly scratched. Although Siegel was mostly incoherent, he complained of suffering ringing in his ears and pain from his hair being pulled.
When the police found the young women in question, they unable to place them under arrest. The police also suffered multiple scratches, torn uniforms, and the embarrassment of being assaulted by two women half their size. The two women are still at large and the police advice extreme caution if you attempt shooting up-skirt photos of them.
