Does your wife do this too?
By Seron (Ken) / WhatJapanThinks.com December 14, 2005
The Trivia no Izumi (Fount/Spring of Trivia)outdid itself tonight, with a survey to find out when people who had been married for three years first heard their wife pass gas! They interviewed 1000 Japanese husbands by means of an internet poll, and as you can see in the pie chart on the right, almost half the wives (43%) couldn't keep it in for more than a year. 29% first let rip in the second year, 16% avoided a bottom burp until their third year, and 12% of husbands have been spared their wives' anal emissions....more...

Are you trying to say that our GG just might rattle the windows now and then and doesn't want to own up to it?

And those songs GG inspired ...

The Debbie Boon classic, "You Light Up My Life":

You light up my life
You give me hope
To carry on
You light up my days
and fill my nights with pong

and, of course, Prodigy's "Firefarter"

I can remember my wife farting on ONE occaision. She was very pregnant at the time.

She went to stand up to do something and let one out to make up for the lack.

I'd never seen her embarrassed about anything before, but she got red as a beet and sat right back down.

I used to fart around the house, but this just outdid all of mine in one blow. She was almost in tears.

I WAS in tears cuz I was laughing so hard.

Of course, when living together, you're bound to walk into the bathroom after your wife has done some business.
I will not abide ignorant intolerance just for the sake of getting along.

I may make fun of GG and her gas - but I'm just as guilty.

I think it depends on the household. In mine we are open about going to the dunny and so on. The toilet door is rarely shut. Muffles the conversation you see....

I just wish that the Boy wasn't so keen on the ol' Dutch Oven gag......

You know what they say, don't hold a fart in. If you do that, they infiltrate the brain and that's how all the shitty ideas come up.
Check out what I think you gaijins should be doing when you get to Japan at http://www.tokyoessentials.com ! Cum on, DO IT, I know you want to...

Hey Gomigirl

Postby canman » Fri Dec 16, 2005 4:33 pm

My Grandfather always used that one with his. He'd call us over and say" help me out and pull my finger" then he'd let one rip. I haven't heard that in a while. Oh the memories. But my Japanese wife would rather die than fart in front of me. Althought she does in her sleep, but she always denys it.

Kyodo via Yahoo: Poetry a laughing matter for third-graders at Saitama school
A teacher at an elementary school in Asaka, Saitama Prefecture, north of Tokyo, is holding a unique class for third-graders where they give readings of their own humorous poems, with off-color topics taking the gold medal in both popularity and generating fits of laughter. One student named Ryo wrote no-holds-barred of his grandfather:

(He) produces all kinds of fart sounds,
"Buu," the sound of a door opening,
"Bububuububutsubutsu," the sound of an excavator,
My grandfather's fart is just too powerful.

Just after Ryo read his poem, which sent the classroom into a round of gut-busting guffaws, another boy raised his hand and capped the topic by saying, "My mother's fart is soundless."
