For our survival, North Korea and Iran, the axis of evil, have to be taken out. If the United States lets these rogue countries strike first, it will be the end of the world as we know it now.

We should furnish South Korea with an atomic bomb and all the necessary materials needed and the firm OK to take North Korea out.

Drop the bomb on the heaviest military concentration, and, at the same time South Korea is taking out North Korea, give the OK to Israel to take out Iran the same way.

Let these two countries wallow in their own destruction for 60-90 days, then go in and help the survivors rebuild their countries and install democrcy. Like we did Japan.

It's perfectly reasonable- if you don't get along with someone and have the means to annihilate them, you should do it. Oh wait, that's the bin Laden philosophy...

North Korea said Tuesday it will conduct a nuclear test in the face of what it claimed was "the U.S. extreme threat of a nuclear war," ratcheting up tensions amid international pressure to return to negotiations on its atomic program.

The United States said it would raise the latest statement in a U.N. Security Council meeting, and South Korea raised its security level.

Time to place your bets on when the B-1B in the picture will be violating Iranian airspace again, but flying at low altitude, at night, eastbound and with a payload.

[INDENT]Q: President Bush has talked about our staying in Iraq for 50 years — ” (cut off by McCain)
McCain: “Make it a hundred.”
Q: “Is that …” (cut off)
McCain: “We’ve been in South Korea … we’ve been in Japan for 60 years. We’ve been in South Korea 50 years or so. That would be fine with me. As long as Americans …”
Q: [tries to say something]
McCain: “As long as Americans are not being injured or harmed or wounded or killed. That’s fine with me, I hope that would be fine with you, if we maintain a presence in a very volatile part of the world where Al Qaeda is training and equipping and recruiting and motivating people every single day.

The only thing in good shape these days is the US Airforce and the US Navy, war on terror has broken the backbone of the Army and the Marines...
it was a small job that got fucked up big time by a useless President who embarrassed the Republican party
back in the old days America and its allies beat Hitler and the Japanese within 4 years...Iraq is dragging on much longer
they won't be doing this shit for much longer because the medial bills for injured troops has skyrocketed and there has been a huge economic costs and the only people making money out of this are the Arab oil states

and apart from all that political shit

This should be required viewing for everyone who thinks nukes are any sort of answer. Modern nukes are hundreds of times stronger than Little Boy and Fat Man.

Iran was liberalizing until Boosh opened his fuckin mouth. Then they put their nut in charge to counter Boosh and clamped down on democratizing. Mission Accomplished.

The neo-cons in the US manage to create and empower a new "enemy" (boogyman) in order to continue to justify the continued spending of hundreds of billions of dollars by taxpayers on the military industrial complex. Of course its "Mission Accomplished", $$$ all the way to the off-shore bank!

You just have to look at how profitable the "war on terror" and invasion of Iraq has been for Halliburton, which recently relocated to Dubai, and the other multinational corporations that make up the American military industrial complex.

Iran's use of an indigenously developed rocket to place a satellite in orbit this week proves that the nation's missiles are capable of hitting any location on Earth, the head of a major Russian space company said yesterday (see GSN, Feb. 4).
"I take my hat off to the Iranian scientists. ...

They have shown their missiles can reach any point on the globe," Interfax quoted RKK Energia head Vitali Lapota as saying.
U.S. analysts have expressed concern that Iran could use the Safir 2 rocket technology to build long-range ballistic missiles it might eventually arm with nuclear warheads
The new decision by the coalition's kickass anti-piracy task force readying the waters for a Japanese mission so says AFP.
The navy would protect Japanese-registered ships and foreign ships with Japanese crew and passengers, or important cargo, said an official with the ruling Liberal Democratic Party's junior coalition partner, New Komeito. The task force said that Japanese coastguards should be on board the navy ships to exercise police duties as the Japanese navy's role was limited strictly to self-defence, he said. It is up to government to decide what kind of, and how many, ships should be dispatched, said the official in the New Komeito policy planning team. Earlier reports have said Prime Minister Taro Aso will authorise a plan for a destroyer to head to Somalia

The US, Japan are starting to freak. Chinese have emerged as a new power, big China corps rapidly penetrating into Africa, Ships in Latin America and now the Indian Ocean.
The London-based Times summed up the concerns in the West: "In an era when China is playing a much larger global role in commerce and politics, the deployment of warships to the Gulf of Aden redefines it as a nation prepared to spill blood protecting its diverse stakes in the world economy
