CASE FILE NO. 116: 1 month to solve Sekihotai attacks
The statute of limitations runs out in one month for the last in a series of attacks against The Asahi Shimbun perpetrated by a group claiming to be punishing ``anti-Japanese'' elements.
The attacks against the daily, involving shootings and a bomb scare, took place in 1987 and 1988.
Police have until March 11 to arrest a suspect in the last incident-a time bomb that failed to detonate at the newspaper's Shizuoka Bureau.
