The town of Yamanashi-shi, Yamanashi Pref. is having a garage sale to unload a resort hotel they built about 12 years ago and mismanaged since.
Heavily in debt. For last two years rented/operated by artist colony.
This is a fire sale, and will probably be in the local news, but the opportunity exists now to buy and operate a hotel business in this area. This may be one for Goldman Sachs or Lonestar but I will pass it along to any potentially interested parties.
