PSP

Hey guys. I am looking for a PSP with 1.5 or 2.0 firmware on it. I have posted in the WTB section also, but I thought you guys here might have a good idea about where I could go about finding one. I would prefer a new one, but I understand that that might be a bit of a needle in a hay stack, so a good condition second hand one would also be good.

The obvious suggestion would be Akihabara, but can you suggest anywhere else I might be able to find one?

Try Hard-Off. They have a lot of used and some new stuff. There are stores all over, check their site.

Do you mean one that doesn't have the Sony updates on it? I have read there there are ways to "dumb down" or downdate the system back to 1.0 or 1.5 (assuming it was there at some point originally).

Yeah you can do that upto version 2.0. After that, you can't downgrade the firmware. I think the new ones are at about 2.6 now....

That's why I need to find and "oldish" one.
