Famous westerners only in japan

Me and a friend are trying to list all the Westerners who are famous in Japan. (they can be half-japanese.) BUT they cannot be famous in their own country. Our list is teeny at the moment, and although we can see faces of so many more... names are missing. CAN YOU HELP!? (strange question=yes. But, hit me with all the names you have!)

I'm not sure Dave Spector and Bob Sapp belong on the list. Bob has begun appearing in movies in the states and is currently another that is in the process of filming. Dave has offices of Spector Communications on the West coast to include Hollywood and is involved in a lot of projects back and forth between Japan.

Are they as famous as in Japan, No, but they are not unknown as the rest of the slugs are.

I still find it amazing that it would appear that every FG hates any FG that is on TV. The more they are on, the more they are hated!

Sure, they play the dumb stereo typed gaijins in most of their casting, but should we hate them for that? How many of us haven't cowtowed at one time or another?

Zomahon was the loud, opinionated African guy on "Koko wa hen da yo Nihonjin". I've met him in person, and he seems much nicer than the persona he had on the show. He speaks several languages besides English and Japanese. Come to think of it, I actually have his cell phone number somewhere...

The interesting thing about the "kiraina gaikokujin tarento" survey, though, was that it showed the gaijin hating is not restricted to FG audiences!

Personally, I hate the FGs on TV because they have lowered the standards. I am constantly told I can't be on TV because I am just too sexy.

(but honestly, gboothe, I'm with you. I don't know what gives with the amazingly negative vibes from the FG community. I have always assumed it's just jealousy)
