And rightfully so I would say. Maybe that will prompt them to put more effort into not producing absolute garbage.

The Wii rocks.

I don't own a Wii, but given the choice between playing on one or watching J-TV I don't think it would be difficult to choose.

Damn, I'm blocking on the name but there's a primetime Japanese TV around 8pm on weekend that pits teams of Japanese "talents" to play video games against each other. Y-A-W-N.
In order to fire the guns to kill the game's monsters, the contestant has to guess pronunciation of kanji  (This show satisfies the J-Government's requirement for "educational" programming even though it is only about showing the bouncing titties of female players).

Who says bouncing titties aren't educational... Lots of physics involved in that!

Well, it didn`t take long for me to think it up so there probably already is some kind of Wii game out there somewhere that can do that interactively with fully adjustable bust sizes, while explaining the elasticity mathemetics involved at the same time.

Sounds like an untapped market for pervy brain age type DS game...but for the home console market, its the Xbox 360 FTW on this topic.

TEMCO's coders clearly spent alot of time worrying about breast movement physics...improving from the Xbox1 game, they now move independently of one another on the 360

As for the drop off in TV, I don't know if I buy the Wii as the cause...I don't see people playing it more than 15-20 minutes at time...depending on the game, the physical demands, while not huge, do add up over time. Unlike other video game controllers, in which you can manipulate with your hands resting in your lap while your fingers do the work, the wii controller usually requires holding out your hands or arms. I found my arms and fingers hurt after about 15 minutes using the Wii while I can usually go 2 hours on PS2 or 360 controllers before my hands hurt. Although these folks could be kickin' it old school and are playing old NES/SNES games via virtual console (which uses a standard type controller-ie, non-motion based) or using the wii web browser.

A clip of a special mode in the Japanese version of SEGA's port of their arcade game Ghost Squad for the Wii. Instead of taking down terrorists with a machine gun, you now take down bikini clad women with a super soaker water gun and the knife fights have now become banana fights.

http://blog.wired.com/games/2007/10/frolic-with-bik.html

It will be interesting to see if military men crotch punching women will be viewed as acceptable for the US market.
