Pretty amazing trailer. I heard the director is Utada Hikaru's husband, the one who made all those trippy music videos of hers like traveling and sakura drops. Should be interesting to see how he does on the big screen.

Whoever translated Casshern should be fired.
Well, I am not sure it's the translators fault, it might be someone who was trying to make the dialogue more dramatic. They failed.

To say that the translation is bad is like saying the Klu Klux Klan is racist.
A freaking understatment.

I only got 10 minutes into the film. I couldnt watch any more. Not only is dialogue NOT translated, but often it's completely WRONG.

The DVD was just released, but I hope a shitstorm gets kicked up about it because it SUCKS!

Maybe the Chinese bootleg version on the web has a better translated fan-sub but I won't waste my time watching it as it sounds like such an ass turd of a movie.

yeah its fucking bad, story is all over the place, the dialogue terrible

but the movie does have some good visual fx

skimmed through a few minutes...
it did not impress...
never subjected myself to watching it...

I may even have to take a flamethrower to the [I][machine] that it was located on[/I]...
...should probably go one step further and nuke it from orbit...it's the only way to be sure
