In a Japan that demands conformity, individuality is usually performed in groups. And some of Japan's wackiest clubs tend to attract some of the country's most, well, interesting individuals, as Flash (5/27) reveals.
Take Kiri no Kai, a collection of devotees who worship the beauty of images of kimono-clad women committing hara-kiri. In the past, members of the club with a 20-year-long history, held mock seppuku sessions, but now its activities are largely centered on the annual newsletter.
