Also, ignore anything after the main verb, like all the members of the ことに、ことがfamilies and you'll find that the translation goes much faster. A whole bunch of simple sentences. And make everything present tense, just so you don't really have to scan anything over two lines to make sure you didn't "Yesterday, I go to the market and buying fish."...well...that style worked for Burroughs among others.
